Not being as critical as the rest, I'm just happy to see he isn't severely warped in any significant aspect. (Hands hardly apply to a cover, methinks! )

Okay, I'm going to be different from everyone else, and say AWESOME! I don't know about anyone else, but I've always liked Churchill. Wolverine looks the best, and Iceman reminds me of something out of the Matrix. And what's the deal with everyone pointing out Nightcrawler's hand, has nobody noticed that you don't see the priest collar on his costume? And Alex Ross definitely rules! I'll agree that the costume does look like a wetsuit, but I always thought Kurt would look good in violet.

Actually the priest collar is there, it is a coloring mistake so it blends into the costume.

Look below (or rather in this position above) his chin and to the left. See the little blue rectangle. Thats the priest collar, it just got painted blue.

The regular wizard special has all the new X-men's costumes on display. If you get a chance to see it, it is worth a look. The issue has a better visual on NC's costume.

Oh. OK... I keep seeing and hearing about all these icky things that are showing up and going to show up (skinless man anyone?) and I'm already in a constant state of panic because of... something I shouldn't mention until I know for sure. Three possible decisions, I don't get to pick, and none of them are really good.

Yeah, I thought that's what it was about the collar. But I just can't do it, I can't nitpick something about the art/artists that have taught me so much about drawing these seemingly few years I've been reading comics. In fact I have trouble nitpicking anything! Let's face it, these guys have a lot of pressure on them and they do the best they can. So what if it's a little exagerrated? That's his style. I think we shouldn't put down what we don't like, and celebrate the simple fact that Kurt is back, and here to stay!

I like the new costumes. It's a shame he's got purple instead of red, but he could've gotten...I don't know...periwinkle or something.

Just a note, guys: the Alex Ross designs aren't being used. They'll be dressed like they are on the cover. Or am I completely wrong, KC?

The Alex Ross designs aren't being used, they're just cool looking. Although, Ross said that he might use them sometime down the road sometime if he ever gets the chance to work on an X-Men project.

And I kinda agree that Ross's NC costume is a bit funny lookin'....I think it's because of how he's posed and where the purple comes down to...if you extend the purple to below his knees it looks a helluva lot better. I'd personally like to see NC in a suit more like Ross's Cyclops.

Oh, and BC, wouldja do us all a favor and scan some of the reg. Wizard stuff in for us??
